Privacy Policy
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy describes how Gyvit Technologies ("Gyvit," "we," "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mail migration service (the "Service"). The Service migrates email messages, folders, and related mailbox data from a source email account you designate to a destination mailbox hosted by Gyvit.
2. Information We Collect
- Account information. Your name, email address, and the account details needed to operate your Gyvit account.
- Authorization tokens. When you authorize access to a source mailbox (for example, through Microsoft's consent flow), we receive OAuth tokens scoped to the access you grant. We do not receive or store your source account password.
- Mailbox data in transit. Email messages, folder structure, and related metadata are read from your source mailbox and written to your Gyvit destination mailbox to perform the migration you request.
- Service logs. Operational records of migration activity (such as timestamps, item counts, and error states) used to run, troubleshoot, and verify migrations.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above solely to provide the Service: to authenticate you, to perform the migration you request, to verify its completeness, to troubleshoot problems, and to communicate with you about the Service. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use the contents of your mailbox for advertising, profiling, or training purposes.
4. Microsoft Account Data
When you connect a Microsoft account, our access is limited to the permissions shown on the Microsoft consent screen and is used only to read the mailbox data needed for migration. Use of information received from Microsoft APIs adheres to the Microsoft APIs Terms of Use. You can revoke our access at any time from your Microsoft account's app permissions settings; revocation stops further access to that account.
5. Data Retention
Authorization tokens are retained only as long as needed to complete your migration and are deleted when the migration is complete or when you revoke access. Migrated mail resides in your Gyvit destination mailbox under your control. Operational logs are retained for a limited period for troubleshooting and security purposes and are then deleted.
6. Data Security
Mailbox data is transferred over encrypted connections (TLS). Authorization tokens and account data are stored with access restricted to the systems and personnel that operate the Service. We follow industry-standard practices to protect data against unauthorized access, alteration, and loss.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information or mailbox contents with third parties, except service providers that host our infrastructure (bound by confidentiality obligations), or where disclosure is required by law.
8. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. You may revoke the Service's access to your source mailbox at any time through your source provider's account settings.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
